Parton stars as Miss Mona, the no-nonsense madam of the famous Chicken Ranch brothel, while Reynolds plays the local sheriff—and Parton’s lover—who turns a blind eye to the Ranch’s activities. Their arrangement is threatened when a moralistic TV reporter launches a public smear campaign demanding its closure.
Featuring nine Dolly songs, including “Sneakin’ Around” and a re-recording of “I Will Always Love You,” this beloved cult classic is the perfect send-off for the Queen of Country.
