Cha-cha heels at the ready as GASP! is returning to Cultplex on the 12th December with a special festive screening of John Waters’ grotesque masterpiece Female Trouble.
Waters’ follow-up to the cult classic Pink Flamingos is a queer festive favourite for many with its mix of melodrama, perversity and jet-black irreverent humour.
Expect teenage delinquency, murder in the name of art and a not-so-merry Christmas as we follow the inimitable Dawn Davenport (played by the legendary Divine) from runaway to monster.
Female Trouble is Waters and Divine at their very best, and GASP! is thrilled to showcase this legendary duo’s work on the big screen during the festive period.
