For the first ever feature film to be screened at UrbanArtistry Presents... we're honoured to bring you the 20th Anniversary 4k Remaster of WHOLETRAIN.
In his multi-award-winning cinema debut, screenwriter/director FLORIAN GAAG tells the story of a crew of four graffiti writers – David (MIKE ADLER), Tino (FLORIAN RENNER), Elyas (ELYAS M´BAREK in his first major role) and Achim (JACOB MATSCHENZ) - who have dedicated themselves to the scene with its own hierarchies, values, rules and codes.
WHOLETRAIN delves deep into the secret world of graffiti culture, while delivering an emotionally gripping drama and a multifaceted portrait of its protagonists, who operate in the shadows.
The WHOLETRAIN SOUNDTRACK was produced by Florian, who worked with legendary Hip-Hop greats such as KRS-ONE, FREDDIE FOXXX, O.C., PLANET ASIA, AFU-RA, GRAND AGENT, TAME ONE, AKROBATIK and EL DA SENSEI – The Soundtrack will be re-released later this year as a limited edition vinyl.
The aerosol artwork for WHOLETRAIN was created in collaboration with WON ABC,NEON, CEMNOZ, PURE TFP, CIEL and MONS.
