Film Stories LIVE
Following a sold out event in Birmingham, which covered Chuck Norris, Superman, the new Moana trailer, a local female comedy group, the BFI, Peaky Blinders, people randomly shouting out Hudson Hawk and a lectern that nearly fell over – the next leg of the Simon Brew Film Stories Live tour is in Manchester.
For the first time ever, I’m playing a venue I’ve been keen to get to for yonks: the mighty Cultplex in Manchester (and look! you're on their website!), and I’ll be there on Thursday 23rd April. The idea is a 90 minute live show for film nerds, where I poke fun at films, celebrate cinema, go very geeky, hopefully talk to a local filmmaker or two, and then give away absolutely money can buy prizes.
It’s me at a microphone, with a load of clips, too many slides, and waaaaaaay too much caffeine. Nothing could go wrong!
All of our events are 18+ unless otherwise stated, the event starts at the advertised time above, with doors at 19:00.
