For March, We have decided to commemorate the passing of the horror maestro Lucio Fulci with a special double bill screening including Don't Torture a Duckling and The House by the Cemetery!
Deemed shocking at the time for its brutal violence, depiction of the Catholic Church and themes of child murder and implied pedophilia, Don't Torture a Duckling is widely regarded today as Fulci's greatest film, rivalling the best of his close rival Dario Argento.
As the 1970s gave way to the 1980s, director Lucio Fulci increasingly specialised in the dark, ultraviolent horror movies which would earn him the affectionate moniker "the Godfather of Gore". The third and final instalment in his "Gates of Hell" trilogy, 1981's The House by the Cemetery showcases the malevolent maestro at his blood-drenched best.
All our screenings are 18+
The film will begin at the advertised time above.
