Interference Films is proud to present an ultra rare screening of the Hong Kong Category 3 classic RIKI-OH: THE STORY OF RICKY (??, 1991)
Directed by Lam Nai Choi, Riki-Oh has become the stuff of cult film legend. Based upon the Japanese manga of the same name, Riki-Oh is an outlandish, hilarious, ultra violent martial arts movie set within the walls of a futuristic privatised prison.
Ricky Ho (played by the superb Fan Siu-Wong) is sent to prison, convicted of a heinous crime he didn't commit. Imbued with superhuman strength and unmatched fighting prowess, Ricky embarks on a blood-soaked journey, seeking justice for all, taking down anyone who stands in his way!
Expect more eye-popping, head crushing and gut spilling than you can shake a bloodied nun-chuck at! Ricky stands alone as one of the most original, insane and downright fun action/splatter flicks of all time and we cannot wait to unleash the carnage on to the big screen!!
