A double bill of modern splatter films, films that never hold back and go all out with buckets of blood to create two ridiculously fun late night short films.
This double bill starts with Run For Your Life!, a beautifully shot and expertly crafted homage to The Evil Dead that comes complete with some very impressive practical effects within its blood soaked death scenes, and this will be followed by the mind bending and brilliantly titled, Girls Just Wanna Have Kill. The latter mentioned sci-fi horror film sees the return of Sean Kurosawa who opened last year’s festival with Okhotsk of the Living Dead, a wild film that certainly got everyone talking throughout the weekend and this is sure to do the same with its introduction to a splatter pop icon, its unforgettable visuals, and its connection to the Friday the 13th franchise.
