PLATFORM is our special event for the games industry created to showcase work from developers of all sizes from across the region, to provide a stage for figures within industry to take attendees behind the scenes of their hard work, and open up a new space for the games development community to regularly connect. We aim to provide an opportunity for people to Platform themselves, their games and their work.
What to expect:
Doors will be at 19:00 and the evening will kick off with mini-presentations at 19:30 from several local devs, who will discuss their work, with the hope of gaining valuable feedback from peers. Following an extended social intermission, the second part of PLATFORM will be an extended talk by an industry leader, these will be behind the scenes talks, masterclasses, glimpses into production processes and more!

Headline guest - Mike Rose (No More Robots)
This month's headliner will be a conversation between our host Dan Hett and the Company Director of indie games publishing heroes No More Robots. Join us for an in depth chat about Mike and No More Robot's approaches to publishing in an ever changing industry and fostering creativity throughout this process.
Mike is an ex-game critic turned publishing expert, and has helped numerous devs selling hundreds of thousands of games. Previously he discovered and published games at tinyBuild, and prior to that he wrote about video games at Gamasutra, Kotaku, PocketGamer and more.
Mini WIP Talks
We are always on the hunt for devs/companies to come down and talk about their current project(s). If you'd like to come down and show off your latest work in a 10-15 min presentation, please email us at info@cultplex.co.uk with a little info on yourself and the project. Both straight forward presentations, and live demos are deliverable possibilities.
WIP Talks lineup announced before the event.
