The group wanted to feature a film that highlights the realities experienced by those on the front line of the climate crisis. They will be presenting Utama, a visually stunning story set in the highlands of Bolivia, where a Quechua couple confronts the harsh realities of drought. As water becomes increasingly scarce, traditions and survival clash in a landscape both breathtaking and relentless.
By delving into the devastating impacts of climate change, Utama offers a powerful reflection on the delicate balance between humanity and nature.
This screening is 18+, and will feature subtitles to aid accessibility.
