Venue Access
- The main entrance to CULTPLEX is located at 50 Red Bank. For wheelchair access to Screen One (on the first floor), the stage door to the venue will be used. Please email info@cultplex.co.uk ahead of your visit to let us know about any access requirements.
- The pavement is flush with the main entrance door. There are steps and a sloped entrance into the venue. Screen Two & Three on our ground floor all have level entrances.
- The main doors can be pushed or pulled but will usually be held open. This is the only entrance for public use.
Inside the Venue
- There is one accessible toilet within this venue designated for public use. The toilet is not for the sole use of people with a disability. Accessible toilets are open to all that need them regardless of impairment, long term condition, or disability. This toilet is located on the ground floor. To access it from the cinema, please talk to a member of staff, and they will allow you to use the accessible entrance, which exits onto the sloped street leading to the front door. We are always working towards making our venue as accessible as possible.
- There are bars on both floors of the venue.
- Assistance dogs are welcome in all areas of CULTPLEX. Water bowls can be provided by members of staff upon request.
Inside the Cinema
- Most events, unless stated otherwise, are seated. Screen One contains a gradual rake, but there are wheelchair spaces at the front of the auditorium. Seats in Screen Two can be removed to make space for wheelchair users. Contact info@cultplex.co.uk ahead of your visit to reserve your space for either auditorium.
- The flooring is painted concrete.
- The venue is dimly lit. During screenings, all lights will be switched off. For relaxed screenings, lights will be kept on at all times.
- We accept CEA cards! If you have any issues with booking CEA card tickets on our website, please email us at info@cultplex.co.uk.
