WHAT DOES CULTPLEX DO?
This little cinema does a lot. Primarily we are a cinema doing our best to give a screen to cult classics and genre masterpieces (with some new releases thrown in there) and through those screenings give a regular home for fans of those particular movies to come together. Screenings do go beyond that and you will find documentaries, singalongs, festivals, Q&As and the odd new-ish release. If it’s a great film and you folk want it then we’ll screen it!
DOES CULTPLEX DO ANYTHING MORE THAN SCREEN MOVIES?
Yep! As we’re well set up for events of all sorts you’ll also be able to enjoy comedy, spoken word, acoustic gigs, DJ performances, live podcast recordings and much more within our little cinema. Not only that but we have one of the best gaming setups in the UK which means we’ll be hosting game launches, tournaments, developer/industry events and loads more in the cinema - in addition to our (free!) arcade set ups on the ground floor.
WHERE DID GRUB GO?
For the majority of our lifetime we've shared a venue with award winning food & drink events operators GRUB! As of October 2025, our parent company has left the 50 Red Bank space to focus on new exciting projects taking place around the city! As a result of this, CULTPLEX now operates the whole venue.
CAN I EAT GOOD FOOD & DRINK AT CULTPLEX?
Yep! We have a fine selection of beers alongside cocktails, hot drinks, wines, ciders, low alcohol options and a supreme soft drinks line-up available to sup on throughout the performance.
On the scran front you can expect the premium cinematic classics such as popcorn, sweets and hot dogs (brought to you by street food legends Oscar's Dogs) - Including a selection of imported candy goods from around the world!
We have a zero tolerance policy on people bringing their own food and drink in (as your retail purchases help us do what we do!), so no sneaking in a 6 pack and a suitcase of Deliveroo, you will be hoofed.

Of course! Our trusty suggestion box is your best bet the next time you are in the venue! However if you’d prefer to let us know online, just pop us a message on socials. If enough of you suggest a certain film, we’ll have a look at getting it on! If that isn’t enough for you, read the next bit!

HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN THE CINEMA SEAT?
Screen One is 108, Screen Two is 32 and Screen Three is 8.
CAN CHILDREN ATTEND SCREENINGS?
As standard all of our screenings are 18+ due to licensing issues. If a screening is family friendly it will be listed as such in the event description. If you are unsure about an event being open to children, please feel free to pop us an email, or message on socials.

DO YOU HAVE USHERS?
We do! Ushers will always be in the room to check your tickets, answer queries, and ensure that your experience is the best it can possibly be! If you have any questions or issues at the cinema, or issues with other cinema goers, please let them know.
